Volunteer

TABLE Ministries relies solely on volunteers.  Volunteering your time is just as important to our mission as giving financially or donating items.  The gift of time and talents are always in high demand.   

We understand the value of your time and do everything we can to ensure you feel like a valued part of our community.  

  • Bargain Buddies are volunteers who are on-call to purposely purchase specific items for clients, for our programs, for special events or for the ministry in general.  These volunteers have a passion for shopping with an eye for a good deal.
  • Pantry Partners are critical to our Collections Program.  These volunteers help coordinate, collect, sort, categorize, store and assemble our collections.
  • Outreach Volunteers work directly with clients and other service providers who serve our homeless.
  • Speakers are volunteers who are trained to go out into the community to represent TABLE Ministries and give a variety of public presentations. 
  • General Volunteers are always in high demand.  Our general volunteers sign up for a variety of different roles and responsibilities, depending on the request.  There’s no real commitment other than being willing to receive emails that list current or upcoming volunteer needs. 
  • Professional Services are needed and greatly appreciated.  Please list your specific area(s) of expertise on our volunteer application.  Examples of services in need are:
    • Accountant
    • Attorney
    • Catering
    • Child care
    • Counseling
    • Drivers
    • Event Planner
    • Fundraisers
    • Grant Writers
    • Medical
    • Photographers
    • Printing
    • Public relations
    • Videographers

A $25 background check is required for all volunteers.
